This ministry at EH seeks to help our neighbors who may need a little extra help or handy-man chores.
1 Timothy 5:3-5 outlines who needs help from this ministry. This is not targeted for just widows but elderly couples whos children live away and cannot always be there to help their parents on a moment's notice.
Often, simple household tasks can come up that are too difficult for an elderly person to handle. Helping hands may be able to assist. Examples are changing light bulb or batteries in smoke detectors or a task that is just too physically exerting. There may be some tasks that are too complex or beyond the skill of our volunteers but we may still be able to get you help.
